How I Regained My Hair

Posted in House Of Self Improvement, Makeup & Beauty, Online Health at 11:39 am by admin

My hair loss treatment journey begun the day I started to notice my receding hair line and my bald spot getting bigger. The most obvious thing to do was to find ways to comb my hair to hide my bald spot. I got down to wear more and more hats on the weekends as I went out with my wife, friends or family. Walking in to work every morning was a tough experience without my hat on. Your mind will do that to you when you are experiencing hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.

As I looked in the mirror I started to treasure every one of the hair strands I had left. It was as if with each strand of hair I lost, so was a small portion of my confidence gone as well. A mate of mine had the same problem as me. I observed lately that he appeared so much more relaxed and it appears as though his hair was growing back. I didn’t wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. That is when he told me about Advanced Hair Studio. With just a few visits my friend John had not only regrown his hair, but his self-assurance as well. After speaking to Josh and understanding what Advanced Hair has done for him, I took the courage to make an appointment for a free consultation.

I have to admit that I was a little wary at first. Results were apparent within a few weeks. Not only on my scalp, but in my attitude. I began to lose the caps on the weekends and I quickly started to feel better about myself. My wife who has been complaining about my lack of interest in our relationship began to notice the change in that department as well. It is amazing how just a few treatments to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I always felt as if the first thing people observed about me was my bald spot. Now, I am not terrified to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of hair back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back my hair, but a big piece of my life as well. If you are suffering from hair loss I highly recommend them as it has done so much for me in just a few months of treatments. Don’t let your confidence continue to be lost with your hair.

Getting Real Interviews at Career Faires

Posted in House Of Self Improvement, Internet Technology Resources, Software Stuff at 4:51 am by admin

Standing out at a Career Faire can make a difference in your career search. Career Faires are starting to pick up, and Dice is running some nice ones, called Targeted Job Fairs. At a Silicon Valley Career Fair in early 2010, 10 companies as showing up, and Dice has 82 career fairs scheduled for 2010 across the United States.

How do you compete at a Career Faire? The contention can be noteworthy, but you can help yourself stick out from the crowd with advance preparation. At AA-Careers, we have a simple 6-step process to prepare. Planning to go? Here’s how to prepare:

First, investigate the companies that are going and pick your objectives. Use the web to research the companies that are there before you go. Go to their internet sites and see if they have their openings posted. Pick a rational number to go after, and get ready to spend up to an hour researching each one. It’s hard to do more than seven in a day, and four or five is a much more reasonable target. For each company, you want to know: recent news, key product lines, and exectuve names. Try to see if you know anyone at the target companies. You’ll end up with a page or two of research for each company/job.

Second, if there are job postings on the web, read them to see what the hiring department is looking for. Create a mapping of your accomplishments and skills to the demands of the job. Make the terminology match. If the hiring company calls customers "clients", your resume should do the same thing. The achievements should be written in the style of the hiring organization.

Third, create a ‘brief sales pitch’ for each likely company/position combination. Write down a sixty second ‘thumbnail’ that you can repeat verbally describing why you are a fantastic candidate for that job. You’ll use this in your resume and when you meet people at the job booth.

Fourth, modify your resume for each opportunity. The objective on your resume should exactly match the job you’re want. The executive summary should be a written form of your “mini sales pitch” for the job. Then choose the achievements and skills that most clearly match the job description. Especially at a Career Fair, the purpose of your resume is a sales tool for you – to get you on-site job interviews. It should be very easy to see that you’re a match based on your resume.

Fifth, rehearse your ‘mini-sales-pitch’. Collect your research and the resume for each opportunity – bring a couple of copies for each – and put each in a understandably tagged folder. Keep them in a light briefcase or folio.

Finally, dress and prepare as if you’re doing on-site interviews. Dress nicely and be well groomed. Avoid strong cologne or perfume…use any eau de cologne or perfume sparingly, if at all.

Remember to smile, and good hunting!

My Hair Loss Journey

My hair loss treatment journey begun the day I started to notice my thinning hair and my bald spot becoming bigger. I would spend hours and hours looking for ways to comb my hair a certain way to conceal my hair loss. I noticed myself wearing more hats on the weekends as I went out with my wife, acquaintances or family. Walking in to work every morning without my hat was a difficult experience. You change the way you think when you are suffering from hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be accurate about your hair loss.

Having suffered from balding, I began to treasure every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each individual hair I lost, so was a small percent of my confidence gone as well. Posted in Dating, House Of Self Improvement, Useful Tips at 11:10 pm by admin

People know me as Miss Matchmaker, only ‘caus playing cupid is my role in the universe. I make a point to endorse joining Great Expectations. No way around it, serendipity strikes when I don’t even realize it. Great dating services, like Great Expectations Milwaukee (one of the best), meet and get to know Milwaukee’s qualified singles individually. Great dating services orchestrate promising dates as any good friend does, for a personalized dating experience. That’s just a little specialization providing powerful payoffs by impacting relationships till “death do us part”.

I’ve casually shared singles dating recommendations on the net and in my local column. What you’ll find here isn’t old hat. You know all that. Pay attention to what your date has to say, be diplomatic, don’t be nervous, be frank and (this is key) steer clear of contrasting qualifications on a rubric. Take it breazy, at your own pace! Encourage spontanaity in any situation. Another important one: don’t exacerbate things hoping to pass as someone you are not. Consider ramifications if the acquaintance gets serious, then your partner will be disappointed. My number one dating tip: there are perks to joining Great Expectations Singles. Yes, matchmaking is naturally what I fine-tuned every day, striving for perfection. My great successes with singles who have come to me fashioned that reputation. My coupled-up friends are hard to ignore.

There’s Rebecca and Juan now toting about their gaggle of kiddos. Guess who set-up them to eachother at Spanky’s Hamubrgers in college, and their success is apparent. Gregory and Stephanie also new it was a match when I set them up on a blind date last year. Let’s not forget my sister in law Amanda and her life-mate. They head to the alter in Minneapolis the first weekend of October. I love them both and they found eachother through Great Expectations, from my endorsement.

Wow, I’ve been right on with these arrows, and extraordinarily efficient as well! But it’s also a curse, as I’ve been perfecting assisting single friends to understand how to find a relationship, I forgot to tend to my personal dating situation. Is this what anxieties present when the dating expert seeks an arrow shot her way? I have Great Expectations Milwaukee dating service, ’cause when you’re good at something one can be picky. Perhaps similar thinking has kept me from really getting serious about dating. If anyone does, I understand that you can’t keep up in life’s journey alone. And here we are, I’m listening to my own tips by expert matchmaking.

How Hair Loss Can Influence a Person’s Self-Confidence

Posted in House Of Self Improvement at 11:50 am by admin

Infrequently do we notice youths & young adults at their early twenties with chunks of hair gone from their scalps. Ample hair loss in men occurs in their thirties and forties although it isn’t odd from men in their late 20’s to lose hair as well. The apprehension of aging is dreaded throughout today’s community. Where aging was in the past a symbol of enlightenment and wisdom, it is presently mostly looked upon as if the elder you get, the more uninteresting one become. This is of course not TRUE in most cases. But, since this is how the media and modern society paint middle aged men & women, and losing hair is a symbol of getting older, it is no ponder that hair loss might well affect someone’s confidence.

TV shows regularly portray middle aged men with hair loss as the individuals most doubtful to succeed with securing dates, or being happy in general. The character George Costanza of NBC’s hit TV sitcom, Seinfeld, is the classic instance of this. Costanza was in his late thirties and suffered classic male pattern hair loss. He quite regularly referred to his hair loss as one of his largest reasons for never before succeeding at just about anything in life. Men and women alike both have a tendency to feel self conscious, especially when it comes to the opposite sex. In our culture, a dense, luscious, head of hair is envisaged to be charming, and make one emerge more youthful and healthy.

Current technology is most useful in curing hair loss. Professionals Feel Self Respect with Medical Hair Loss

Posted in House Of Self Improvement, Makeup & Beauty, Online Health at 4:11 am by admin

Looking at human hair wigs on the Internet could fall short of your ideal shopping trip. Listen to me, I’m a middle class woman tolerating god-given medical hair loss. I hold pride because only my dear friends know I regularly and naturally enhance my look with several well-done medical wigs that I value dearly. I can assure you, you can regain personality after experiencing the comfort and style well-made human hair wigs. I’ve seem them make a difference for millions of women in need.

Maybe we have shared some of the exact concerns looking in the mirror. “Will it slide around?” along with “A wig, can you be serious?” were my most important worries, most definitely. These questions can be troublesome when you take a deep breath so you can understand how many natural looking choices are out there. Alopecia wigs, of natural hair, empower ladies in every business with confidence. There’s nothing to worry endlessly in! Never seen a well done wig? That’s because you don’t notice from a full head of hair.

I’ll offer the essential wig choosing tips you may benefit from. It’s no contest the truly natural wigs are lace front. Human hair wigs are typically three times pricier compared to fake wigs with good reason. They may be so much better looking! I strongly endorse them. Even so, if its just too much for the pocketbook, synthetic hair pieces can be a good option and deserving of your deliberation.

As for msyelf, I spring for real, human lace front wigs due to the following characteristics. They won’t be damaged by heat like synthetics and I match my natural color with dye. Not to mention, they don’t itch my shoulders.

Whichever you choose, do your homework to select a wig that does your image justice, so you’ll own the look you’ve earned in confidence. Feel better about your appearance, and what’s more, feel natural wearing it. Like for any a terrific haircut, a wig reflects who you are.

Stand Tall!

Introducing the Honest Gal Who Finally Has Great Expectations

Posted in Dating, House Of Self Improvement, Useful Tips at 1:51 pm by admin

Nobody can say I’m terribly comfortable being bored with most men (who isn’t?) and remain an honest woman. However, I’m not uncomfortable with the reality of life, either. I just suggest it on the blogosphere as a delicious piece of info introducing what I will shortly explain in grand style.

This time last week yours truly was talking to Sandy, thinking of joining the Phoenix Great Expectations dating service. Today, I sit to you as a fully satisfied member of the singles network. For real, it’s true. It’s full of fun, attractive people! If you’ve been paying attention, you may be wondering, “Stop blabbering and tell me about it already.”

Here’s how it went down, I noticed these Great Expectations Reviews and felt encouraged. They’re for the honest singles who think dating doesn’t have to be so frivolous and stupid.

Quite frankly, I’d never been a fan of what serial daters (ie: everyone I know) have named “The Dating Game.” I faced it all the time. Each night people pester, “Are you seeing somebody?” and “You should date!”

“That’s rubbish,” I banter right back, without missing a beat. “There’s nothing to date!”

“Don’t be silly,” they say. “That’s just an excuse for your cynicism.”

Thankfully, that’s my partner in crime (she’s the best) (hehe) Patty Feldman. She sets common sense to my brain to put me back on course. Friends are always there for fresh advice. No countering that, and I joined.

Coming home to the theme of this essay. As I picked from more than three hundred quality singles for my first Great Expectations date, a revelation hit me true. For years, I hadn’t allowed myself any actual great expectations for dating in the serendipitous path of being alive. Single life has its perks, specifically when you get out there and have fun. Holding great expectations makes a difference for those who believe.

The Work Hard Play Hard Theory Does Not Mean Go Screw Off All Day!

Posted in House Of Self Improvement at 5:27 am by admin

Have you ever watched someone get totally out of control at a party, drunk off their rear-end and when you mentioned something to them they say something; Work Hard Play Hard I Always Say? Yet, when you saw them at the office they were already playing. I had one Regional Manager who just loved to horse around and that is all well and good, he would joke around and tease. No real harm in that right?

Sure enough a little humor is indeed great for the work place as it breaks up the sometimes stress from deadlines, crisis management and self-induced goals and objectives. Sounds okay right? And what someone does on their own personal time well pretty much that is out of bounds from comment as is it really my business what happens? Well indeed all these are thoughts to consider.

However, when this gentleman; Mr. Putting Green in the Office, said to me; Work Hard Play Hard, well I just thought to myself that he never works hard and he is always behind and others are constantly fixing his mistakes and covering for him.

Why, well Stanley is a nice guy that is why and he has been kidding around, as personality his whole life and weaseling his way into good pay situations, management and now I am stuck with him.

Well guess who was the first to go when one of our master franchises bought out a large regional area and we re-assigned territories to our regional managers? You guessed Mr. Screw Off All Day, Never Work Hard and make excuses for being drunk and carrying on at company parties. See Ya, who needs Ya. Consider this in 2006.
