Some players are not comfortable or careful enough about the poker game to know how to manipulate their image. They may surprise you with their actions but this is more because they aren’t sure of what they are doing than they are trying to deceive you. Often these players can be trickier to uncover than those who know what they are doing. 2. Everest players who don’t know the game as well as you are often harder to manipulate. This is because they won’t be looking for subtle signs and patterns that better players would catch, and therefore operate more on cards and money than they do the finer aspects of the game. 3. Learning to tell the difference between these two types of players, and how to adjust accordingly, is a fundamental aspect of any live game. Some players will be more difficult too in that they are skilled at wavering back and forth between both modes. 4. When you see that a player has caught up to things you are doing, it may be time to switch modes against him. Often the best mode is to play tight, aggressive poker as this is the kind of play that most often can not be beaten by force or moves. Cards are cards.
