Nothing Beats Live Music
When when the warm evenings are getting hotter, you use up a lot of your time to meet with friends drinking in pub gardens without the aid of garden heaters. Purchasing beverages in the bar that cost vast sums of money, putting dents in the bank account. What could be better news to your Bank Manager than that of free concerts london? You feel as though you have earned the right to spend more funds on shooters of Sambuca and Whiskey and Cokes.
Some people have chosen to only go out drinking once in a month. In the capital, the price of pints has risen in the last couple of years. You can go out in town and rinse a tonne without the time even reaching twelve a.m. There are still a huge amount of people that go out without fail every single Friday and Saturday evening but every single one of us would not turn down opportunities to view some free bands.
Kings Place are currently hosting weekly themed free music nights for young people. The genres of music range across all genres of desired music and less well known genres. The cliental is young and trendy. The night is aimed to cater for 18 – 40 year olds, but the age group that takes the largest chunk is mid twenties. As you make yourself more available for more and more evening every week you start to notice the die hard fans in the place from weeks in the past. This is a great sign as members of the public just keep coming back each week. The themes move around to suite different tastes, but the crowd seem to be diverse and want to experience something different. It is free admittance so you don’t have anything to lose in trying something for free you haven’t heard before.
The most unforgettable night so far was the Blues night. It consisted of four artists all from London performing bluesy riffs to make you jump up and down. RogerHubbard was by far the most gifted in the set. His songs were from a sixties era with chords that were both tuneful and dancy. The tune ‘Fighting That Jug’ was just amazing. A song about a drunk sung in an upbeat tone. They master of ceremonies announced he will be back in the New Year so be sure not to miss it.
This week coming up it is the theme of Rock music. So if that isn’t your thing, just turn up anyway, you never know you might have a really good time, it is free after all.
