Bimboism is rampant in today’s media climate where those who do get their fifteen minutes of fame squander it with empty words and idiotic antics. Think about how much of YOUR time is wasted when you watch TV, listen to the radio or read newspapers or magazines. How long do you stay with a story if it’s not pertinent to your interests or if the interviewee is dull? With so much competition for your attention it’s easy to move on to the next best thing.
If you don’t want to become the next bimbo and instead touch the hearts and the minds of the nation, here are three things to avoid.
1. Give a fatty bone.
The quickest way to lose interest is to ramble. When you can’t make your point succinctly your audience tunes out-literally. They change the channel or they shift their attention. To keep your audience jazzed respect their time by getting to the point of what they want to know. Give them value every second you’re speaking. Shave off any unnecessary fat and get to the bone, the real core of what you have to give.
2. Be professorial.
In my experience people who have the highest degrees are the biggest bores. They speak with the jargon of their industry or training using long sentences and obscure ideas. Simplifying is the key to communication. One of my favorite clients, syndicated technology columnist and national correspondent for KCBS news Larry Magid, is an exception. He can take the most complicated ideas and turn them into a Zen garden. He puts each word stone in the right place at the right time to create order, simplicity and understanding. Follow Larry’s path to your own garden by taking the big idea down to its roots. Refuse to be high fallutin’ by making your knowledge inaccessible to the masses.
3. Praise the Lord.
Preaching will set people hellbent against you. I don’t know about you but when someone tells me what to do I automatically rebel. Whenever you’re attached to an idea and try to push it on someone it’s natural to resist. When you have an agenda people sense it. If you’re unattached to the outcome your audience will be more receptive to you and your ideas. Allow them to make their own choices based on the information you impart. Tempt them with heavenly insights and offers.

The medical word for male pattern baldness is alopecia. The very most common kind of hair loss is male pattern baldness and hits approximately over a quarter of boys and girls. This kind of baldness is naturally forever.
Permanent hair loss comes in 3 ways. Male pattern baldness might start in the remarkably early part of a males life, with hair loss beginning as young as 18 years. The typical symptoms might well include loss of hair follicles around the crown of the head and don’t forget at the forehead. The result may be partial or full total baldness.
Girl pattern baldness is similar to male pattern baldness resulting in permanent hair follicle loss. This kind of hair loss is regularly developed after a female gives birth to her girl or boy. The hormone imbalance creates hair loss although girls do not ordinarily experience full loss of hair.
The last sort of forever hair loss is through Cicatricial. This appears when some inflammation in the scalp starts scaring and the hair strands fall out forever and never come back. The male might lose hair folicles in different sections, or even spread all over the scalp. Visit Advanced Hair Studio and get a free hair and scalp check.
With permanent hair loss the fabulous solution for legions of men and women will probably be to seek help with a special hair clinic in order to gain back confidence.

To make a profit, in the FOREX, a trader can enter the market as a *buy position* (known as going “long”) or a *sell position*(known as going “short”).
For discussion, let’s assume you’ve been studying the EURO.
Your trading methods, rules, strategies, etc., tell you that prices will rise during a particular timeframe. So you buy the EUR/USD pair (or, technically, you will simultaneously buy euros, the base currency, and sell dollars).
You open up your handy trading station software (provided to you for free by the online broker), which resides on your desktop, and you see that the EUR/USD pair is trading at:
<< EUR/USD: 1.3242/45 >>
REMEMBER: the quote to the left of the / (1.3242) refers to the bid or “sell” price (what you obtain in USD when you sell EUR). The quote to the right of the / (1.3245) is used to obtain the ask or “buy” price (what you have to pay in USD if you buy EUR).
So, since you believe that the market price for the EUR/USD pair will go higher, you will enter a *buy position* in the market. For simplicities sake, let’s say you bought one lot at 1.3245. As long as you sell back the pair at a higher price, then you make money.
But, no worries. This seemingly elaborate process is handled, and even calculated for you, via the broker’s software mentioned above. The chart software and the quote board are in agreement with all sides of the currencies.
To illustrate a typical FX SELL trade, consider this scenario involving the USD/JPY currency pair:
REMEMBER ~ Selling (“going short”) the currency pair implies selling the first, base currency, and buying the second, quote currency. You sell the currency pair if you believe the base currency (USD) will go down relative to the quote currency (JPY), or equivalently, that the quote currency (JPY) will go up relative to the base currency (USD).
NOTE: while the Profit Calculations, on the Short-sell trade scenario below, may seem somewhat complicated if you’ve never been in the FOREX market before, trust us when we say, “this process is nearly seamless through your broker trade station (software). We’re just showing you this thought-process below so you can SEE how a PROFIT occurs even when
SELLING a currency pair.
The current bid/ask price for USD/JPY is 105.26/105.30, meaning you can buy $1 US for 105.30 Japanese YEN or sell $1 US for 105.26 YEN.
Suppose you decide that the US Dollar (USD) is overvalued against the YEN (JPY). To execute this strategy, you would sell Dollars (simultaneously buying YEN), and then wait for the exchange rate to rise.
So you make the trade: selling US $100,000 and purchasing 10,526,000 YEN. (Remember, at 1% margin, your initial margin deposit would be $1,000.)
As you expected, USD/JPY falls to 104.26/104.30, meaning you can now buy $1 US for $104.30 Japanese YEN or sell $1 US for 104.26
Since you’re short dollars (and are long YEN), you must now buy dollars and sell back the YEN to realize any profit.
You buy US $100,000 at the current USD/JPY rate of 104.30, and receive 10,430,000 YEN. Since you originally bought(paid for) 10,526,000 YEN, your profit is 96,000 YEN.
To calculate your P&L in terms of US dollars, simply divide 96,000 by the current USD/JPY rate of 104.30.
Total profit = US $920.42

To prevent the risks of a promotion campaign for our products or services, I’m talking about email campaigns, it is recommended to study some of the most common mistakes that can be made in this situation:
1. The desire of immediate success
Launching a promotion campaign through email can be compared the situation in which we want to reach the top of a hill with our car, starting from the base. It is obvious that we won’t succeed on the first try and it requires a little more time until we reach the proper speed. In some cases we get to wonder if our car is capable of such a task. It takes patience!
On the other hand, experts say that the only variable that influences the success of any marketing campaign is “the force of the message”. That’s why a campaign needs to be focused, faithful to the promoted message and you need to arm yourself with A LOT of patience.
2. Trying to reach a bigger audience then your budget allows.
Which would be the right option? To have your message reach the whole target group and to influence only 10% or to have your message reach only 10% of the targeted group but to influence all the members?
To understand better how marketing efforts can get more efficient take a look at this analogy: your message is the “nail”, repeating action is the “hammer” and the client is a “chuck of wood”. If the “nail” is sharp and the hammer is used efficiently you can pierce through the chuck of wood and catch the client.
Oh well maybe it wasn’t the right analogy but I’m sure you got the message?
Let’s move on…
3. The assumption that the business owner is always right or “knows best”. There are situations in life ( like family environment, profession, hobbies), when are are all emotional implicated and we risk to lose objectivity. The excess of information related to our company, the services and products we offer, makes us answer questions that are never asked.
“When you are closed in a bottle it’s hard to read your own label”. In this case, the opinion of a “outsider” can help.. big time!
4. Unfonded complaints
A lot of service providers are complaining that they don’t identify correctly the request of their clients and they end up by losing them. In this situation, it’s best to be specific in your presentation, offers, in the way you conduct your business because it’s better to be specific then to generalize.
5. Sending single emails instead of email campaigns
Just like Rome wasn’t built in a single day, or like friendship doesn’t mean just one date, a single advertising ad doesn’t provide the impact of an entire advertising campaign. While developing a advertising campaign there needs to be a connection, a link, a logic fluidity. All emails you send can be compared to pieces of a puzzle game that represents your company’s image.
6. Obedience to the unwritten rules.
You certainly want to be unique, different from the others. If you act like it, you certainly will be noticed.
7. Ignoring the adequate moment for sending emails.
8. Selecting the target audience.
The fact that the advertising message needs to reach the decision factors ( people that make decisions ) of a company doesn’t mean that your campaign is successful. The truth is that, the big majority of the decisions are presented to the people within the company: coworkers, employees, and so on. They make the decisions together.
9. Ignoring the words with impact.
Words like: agile, smart, cute, creative, are just surrogates for words like: informative, credible, memorable and persuasive. The name of the e-commerce game is “persuasiveness”, influencing potential buyers to really buy your merchandise. This is what really brings you money and success.

No matter who you are or how long you have been a Christian, you will still have times when you get hurt and offended. As a Christian, the goal is to learn how to deal with hurts properly. Learning to respond instead of reacting is the key. If you have been hurt in the same way before, then it will be easier to take on the offense and react. The reaction will be based on a combination of the present hurt and the past hurts as well. If you have learned to forgive when hurtful things happen instead of being offended, you will be able to respond correctly. Forgiveness therefore, must become a way of life in order to be able to respond in a Christ-like manner no matter what the situation is.
The problem is that your soul has a filing cabinet where past hurts and offenses are stored that have not been dealt with properly. This is why when someone does something that hurts you; you will suddenly remember how many times they have done the same thing before.
The only way to be free from past hurts is to forgive. Ask the Lord to help you forgive. Forgiveness is releasing the person who hurt you, and releasing your right to hold the offense against them any longer. Forgiveness is not saying that what they did was not wrong; forgiveness is releasing them to God. You will not be free from the pain caused by the offense until you release the offender. Once you forgive them, your filing cabinet will be cleaned out and you can begin to deal with hurts on a daily basis instead of letting things pile up.
“Forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Eph 4:32
Forgiveness is releasing our right to demand payment for sins against us by surrendering to God and letting Him be the judge and jury.
When someone has sinned against us and we are hurt, the automatic response is to be offended. If we allow ourselves to be offended, then we build a prison and hold the person in this prison until they pay what they owe. This is unforgiveness. If we stay offended, we will turn next and betray the one who offended us. In Mathew 24:10-12, Jesus warns us of the progression of being offended:
– Offended
– Betrayal
– Hatred
– False prophet (speaking against the person who hurt you)
– Love toward the person waxes cold
Forgive each other as God has forgiven you. (Eph. 4:32)
We must forgive 70 x 7meaning forgive again, and again, and again….
The moment we feel frustration or anger, we need to confess it immediately so it does not get lodged in our hearts.
Sometimes, people think they have forgiven; and they may have even prayed a prayer of forgiveness, but it still did not happen in their heart. We often do not really know if we have truly forgiven because the resentment has been buried for a long time.
Resentments get buried in the heart several ways:
- when we are small children and do not know how to forgive
- when we do not recognize our anger (we learn to turn off emotions and just cope)
- when we refuse to forgive
To discover buried resentments in your own heart:
- Start by asking the Lord to help you remember a time you were hurt and instead of dealing with it, you stuffed it.
-When you think of that person or persons, does your heart leap up in love toward them?
-Do you want fellowship with them?
-Do you rehearse speeches you want to say to them if you have the opportunity?
-Do you want to get even?
Are you still angry?
The Bible says to be angry and sin not. Anger is usually suppressed. To forgive someone, you must let the anger come to the surface and live long enough to feel it (this is how you own it). If you have been hurt but fail to own the anger, you have only forgiven on the surface. The anger keeps the pain buried, and therefore forgiveness is not completed.
- You do not necessarily need to feel like forgiving.
- We choose to forgive out of obedience to the Lord.
- We ask the Lord for His power to enable us to forgive.
Are there any signs in your life that indicate that you may be harboring unforgiveness toward someone?

Students are often portrayed as being lazy, indolent, or, perhaps most damningly of all: scruffy. But today’s students are often more active and involved than their parents, and they demand the rewards that come with this behaviour. Valuable pieces of equipment are de rigueur in many of the UK’s student halls; parents having lavished attention upon their offspring in the form of gifts, money and, increasingly, credit cards – cards immediately used to go out and purchase more shiny offerings.
In fact the operation involved in conveying a freshly minted student to the halls of their choosing can take on a military bearing as their hi-fi, decks, television, and computer are loaded into and on top of the car chosen to risk the soon-to-be-familiar route to the student halls. This, of course, is not to mention the miniaturised electronics that go hand in hand with their larger brothers: the mp3 player and omnipresent mobile phone (fortunately these are, now, becoming one and the same) – all are essential student equipment.
It doesn’t stop at electrical goods either, as expensive clothing hits higher on the priority list of our average student – today’s student is, after all, on display for their sartorial elegance as much as for their intellectual prowess.
All of which begs the question: what if it all just…disappears?
Theft, as it always has, runs rife throughout the UK – a recent survey by the Home Office shows that there has been a 4% rise in robbery in April to June 2005 compared to the same period a year earlier, while UK crime figures have increased generally for the first time in six years. Apart from the figures, student insurance has become more of a priority as UK consumer society tightens its grip on another generation of students.
The task of insurance, however, usually falls to the parent. This has not gone unnoticed by the UK banking industry and, aside from the traditional insurance providers, the high street banks plus their myriad financial solution offshoots (see Barclays for an example of the sheer range of products available), there are a growing number of new competitors to the insurance market. The icing on the cake is that even from within individual insurance services there are usually a number of differing insurance packages to choose from. Making the right choice from so many insurance packages can ease the financial burden of insuring your child through their student years.
It’s often a good idea to use an insurance provider database service like Moneynet to check on the current rates and insurance packages available, if only because services such as these are constantly updated with the latest insurance or, indeed, banking, information. However, the next stage comes down to personal choice: do you want to extend your home insurance to cover student possessions away from home? Or perhaps you want a separate service from a provider catering specifically to the student insurance sector? Or, and this might be just a touch too far, do you want a service that your new student can monitor themselves, thus learning the importance of financial considerations to modern lifestyles?
Well, it’s risky, but the choice is yours.

The premise behind fast minikrediet is simple whatever you need 452 euro for, you can take out a loan (usually ranging from 420 euro but sometimes up to 1,000 depending on the provider) that is repayable on your next payday, whether it is 29 days away or less.
Unexpected money problems can hit even those who keep a tight grip on their finances if something goes wrong in the home, a family member needs support or you receive a larger than expected bill you might require cash to help you get by until your next wage slip.
In the majority of instances for every 138 euro you borrow you have to pay back 202 euro, meaning 15 interest. However, for lengthier journeys you are better to use a method of transport that specialises in long distances such as a train or plane, direct minikrediet are certainly a short-term special. For many it simply can’t arrive soon enough as we attempt to juggle bills and expenses, as well as trying to have a little fun in life. The charge you need to observe is how much you pay back on the amount you borrow – this is a fixed sum dependent on the individual provider. A 10 minutes minikrediet is a way to solve a short-term cash issue for amounts like 401 euro.
If you apply for an fast online minikrediet for 496 euro you will usually have to fill out an online form and attach copies of your documentation in an email, or by fax.
You must however, be able to satisfy the fast online minikrediet provider that you will have enough cash available to cover the advance repayment they will look at how much you can afford to pay back on an individual basis between 481 euro. However, this does vary with some providers charging 31 interest and so on. A lot of us count down the minutes until payday? This is where a online minikrediet comes in, offering a suitable sum of money to help you get by. So be prepared to use the gsm minikrediet comparison tool at online minikrediet to compare 17 times the rates. It’s easy to compare direct online minikrediet with us and hopefully you’ll soon have the cash you need to get by without worrying how far away your next payday may be.
As with all payday loan it is best to take a complete search of the market before you apply for a minikrediet for aount 317 euro so you can compare interest rates and make sure you are getting the best deal for your needs. However, it is not necessary to use the loan for this purpose and effectively the cash can be used at your discretion as long as it is paid back with interest during the short loan term.

Screen Size:
Depending on where and when you plan on using your DVD player the most, size may really be a big factor in your decision. If you have a family that’s going to be watching movies in the minivan, you can bet you want to find a portable DVD unit with a larger screen so everyone gets a chance to view the movie. On the other hand, if you travel mostly by yourself or with a significant other, smaller may be the perfect thing for you, easy to haul and manage anywhere.
Disc Formats Supported by the Portable DVD Player:
If you’re into creating your own home movies or music cd’s you need to look into whether or not the machine you want to buy can support other file types (CD-R, CD-RW, or DVD-R). Make sure your machine is capable of also playing just a standard music CD.
Size of the DVD Player:
While most machines look like weight should never be a factor, there can be significant differences in weight from one type of portable player to another….as much as a couple of pounds. Read carefully so you know just how much each unit weighs. If you’re hiking across the country, weight can make a big difference.
Outputs that the Portable DVD Player comes with:
You may not think that this matters, but eventually you’ll wish you thought of this sooner rather than after you’ve purchased a unit. You’ll want a unit that comes with an S-Video outlet for video, as well as Optical Out for audio. These features will come in real handy when you get to your relatives that don’t have a DVD player, and gives you the option of watching a movie on their TV, by hooking into their TV and possibly their stereo…instant theatre for everyone.
Use your imagination, as there are virtually unlimited applications for a Portable DVD Player.

Networking is an art form practiced by many, mastered by few. Like anything, practice makes perfect. Owning my own company, I get to practice a lot.
My favorite networking example is from the movie, For Love of Money. There is a classic scene where Michael J. Fox, who plays a hotel concierge, ducks into a helicopter owned by a man named Chuck. The helicopter pilot says to Fox, “How do you know Chuck?” Fox says, “I don’t know Chuck. But I know Eddie Shackner. Eddie knows Jerry Levine. Jerry knows George Spitzer. George knows Chuck.” The pilot replies, “Small world.” Really!
In its simplest form, networking is about building a strong web of relationships. Below are some essential tips for successful networking whether your goal is to build your business or simply to establish new professional relationships or friendships.
DO:
• Bring business cards wherever you go. They are the “currency of networking.”
• Have a 30 second elevator speech and practice it. Does it sound interesting to you? If not, it won’t be interesting to anyone else!
• Schedule time on your calendar for ongoing networking. Attend association meetings, chamber meetings, business seminars, luncheon programs and other appropriate networking venues. (See the business calendar in your local newspaper for other ideas.)
• Set a goal to meet at least one new person at each networking meeting you attend. Remember, it’s quality, not quantity that you are looking for here.
• Ask for business cards. Be sure to note the date on the front and the time, location of where you met and any other relevant information on the back.
• Follow-up new contacts within one week. Schedule a coffee/ lunch or send notes, e-mails, articles or other items periodically to maintain the connection.
DON’T:
• Sit with your buddies. You can talk to them anytime!
• Arrive late. You don’t want to be competing with the speaker or food service for attention!
• Do all the talking. When you speak, you push people away, but when you listen, you draw them in to you.
• Be insincere. If you are not interested in someone, politely move on.
• Collect a business card from every person. Collect cards only from those you plan to follow-up with. It’s quality not quantity that counts!
On a final note, remember that networking is not about what you get out of a relationship; it’s about what you give. And, as the saying goes, the rest will follow.

Frustrated by search?
Irritated with irrelevant results?
There maybe a better albeit still imperfect way. Metasearch.
Metasearch engines combines the results from multiple search engines in order to give searchers a better look at result sets.
Searching for a term on any of the big three search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN) will yield results that are different. There may or may not be some overlap. A metasearch engine aggregates the results from all three (and sometimes others) and attempts to provide a better list of relevant results. The goal of any search engine is to provide answers to a searcher’s questions. The metasearch engine has the advantage of pulling those “answers” from multiple sources. In the process of combining results, the better metasearch engines will eliminate duplicates. The best ones will allow users to view the results in comparison mode. A column is displayed for the results from the metasearch engine, then a column from Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc. By giving searchers not only their own aggregated results, but also the comparison results, meta engines provide a far greater ability to find answers to questions.
Metasearch engines should be called a Searcher’s Search Engine because they are geared towards helping the searcher. There is another kind of search engine called the Marketer’s Search Engine which I discuss in a separate article. These kind of search engines, while still helpful to searchers, are more heavily helpful to marketers.
Remember, the goal is to find answers to questions. Having the ability to see all the relevant data, instead of one slice of the data, will help users find the answer(s) much more quickly.
There are two metasearch engines that I would recommend.
Dogpile is probably the most well known of the metasearch engines. Myriad Search is little known tool used mainly by a small niche of people. However, both are helpful in seeing aggregated and comparison results.
Reasons to use metasearch:
*find answers to questions from a broader base of results
*find better results
*make searching easier
*understand the big three search engines
*compare the big three search engines
*use big three analysis to improve SEO
